Varesino Honey - PDO
The operators willing to produce, pack and sell the PDO “Varesino Honey” need first to read the Production Standard and the Control Plan in order to consider the chance to be compliant to all needed requirements.
Beekeepers
The Beekepers willing to produce for the Varesino Honey PDO need to send to CCPB, by and not later than 31st of january of each year (for 2015 within the 30th of april) the Contract of Certification (Mod. CO/DO) and the Application for inclusion in the control system (Mod. MV/DO) dully compiled with the following attachments:
- copy of the statement for the beehives sent to the Asl in charge reporting the id code
- copy of the receipt of the payment of the regular annual fee
Processors
The processors (Honey extraction laboratories and packagers) willing to produce for the PDO Varesino Honey need to send to CCPB, within and not later than the 31st of january of every year (for 2015 by the 30th of april) the certification contract (Mod. CO/DO), the application for inclusion in the control system (Mod. MV/DO) dully compliled including the following attachments:
- copy of the health authority permission (or DIA or SCIA)
- certificate inscription CCIAA
- copy of the receipt of payment of the regular annual fee
Documentation
The frame of the overall of the controls, of the fulfiments of the operators and the classification and management of the non compliances is defined in the Control Schemes (Attachment. 2 of the Control Plan). The costs of the control and certification schemes charged to the operators and the method of payments are settled in the Tariff prospect (Attachment. 1 of the Control Plan). We include here the authorisation of the Ministry of Agriculture for CCPB to be the assigned for the compliance assessment of the Protected Denomination of Origin “Miele Varesino”.
