The Soil Association is the main certification body for organic products in the UK and products bearing the association's logo are well-known on the British market and widely recognised by consumers as a sign of guaranteed high quality.
Operators wishing to attach this logo to their products destined for the UK market must be compliant with EEC Reg. 834/07 and they must then complete the Procedure for Product Acceptance set out by the Soil Association. The standards for some products lay down additional requirements to those that apply under the current EU standards for organic products.
CCPB is a body recognised by the Soil Association and, as requested by them, we will arrange for the onsite inspections necessary to verify that operators meet the specifications for the standard.
